Father and daughter tackle busy week of off-island comps

• They started at the Archery GB Youth Festival before heading to the British Target Championships.
• Isle of Man Archery Club members, father and daughter duo Richard and Erin Hainge, enjoyed a packed few days of competition off-island last week.
• Day one of the youth festival saw a constantly changing wind, making conditions difficult, but still Erin produced some excellent groups, although the challenging conditions often left those groups just off centre.

Marown lift Jean Kelly Knockout trophy

• With only four points separating the two sides on handicap and a good crowd supporting both teams, an exciting contest was anticipated.
• Marown A were crowned winners of Isle of Man County Crown Green Bowling Association’s Jean Kelly Knockout after defeating South Ramsey in an entertaining final at Onchan Bowling Club last Thursday evening.
