IoM Today · Island News · 10:00 'Keep clear' warning as sand set to be moved on beach • Members of the public are asked to keep clear of the working area. • Douglas City Council said the project has been agreed in consultation with the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture and will involve redistributing sand that has accumulated against the seawall to the Loch Promenade end of the beach. • During the works, heavy machinery will be operating on the beach.
